Did you know what it felt like?
What you did to me?
That stupid promise.
The promise I thought would last forever.

Liar.

You lied to me.
The weight that I have felt because of my stupidity.
I thought the promise would be real.

No, you’ve left me here to die.
You’ve left it all to nothing.
Let us all fall back into dust.

These walls are still crumbling in upon us,
And I wait for you to return,
I want you to be safe.

I find myself, crushed beneath the walls of old friendship,
As you walk upon them,
My body falls to the dust beneath the walls.

You face me,
But your face is no longer full of love,
But hate and deception.

I found my way back to a day where I had happiness,
So long ago before you started to control me.
Even before the promise that you’d be there forever.

I should just get over it,
That’s what everyone says,
But right now I can’t.
